(FHI) sebagai produsen mobil Subaru siap meluncurkan sedan sport terbarunya pada 25 Agustus 2014. Sedan hasil pengembangan terkini ini dijuluki Subaru WRX S4. Guna membuat penasaran publik, pabrikan asal Jepang itu melansir foto teaser Subaru WRX S4. Dalam foto teaser tersebut nampak siluet WRX S4 serta pendaran cahaya lampu depan dan belakang. Subaru WRX S4 dikabarkan akan menggendong mesin boxer 2.0 liter turbocharged yang mampu memproduksi tenaga 272 PS pada 5.600 rpm dengan torsi 350 Nm pada 2.000 rpm. Jantung mekanis tersebut dikawinkan dengan transmisi manual. Tenaga disalurkan ke roda melalui sistem penggerak empat roda (AWD).
